Mx. FOXY models her New Year's tiara

Happy New Year from Ms. FOXY, the Divine Diva Dog and blogger from the Cecil County SPCA. Thanks to my many fans for bringing me several tiaras to wear for my New Year’s date. I tried on the white feathered one, and the sparkly, jeweled one, but finally decided on this one because it is pretty obvious, like MOI: it says “Happy New Year” and that says it all!

Many thanks to some really special humans who have helped to make the holidays bright for all the dogs and cats at the CCSPCA shelter.  We really enjoyed the  turkeys that were so generously provided by Food Lion in Elkton and Middletown, DE., and the Giant store in Middletown! The staff humans at the shelter baked them up for us and we had enough for Thanksgiving, Christmas and some leftovers for New Year’s Day!

Then there were some great families who opened their hearts to the animals in this holiday season with donations and gifts to help the cats and dogs have a happy holiday.  Here’s FOXY’s thank you card:

Thanks to Ms.Kate Benner, Timmy and Runner of Earleville, David Mitchell and family of Elkton, Raymond and Cynthia Hutson of Bel Air, Mr. and Mrs. Robert James of  North East, Bonnie and Thomas Hall of Southhampton, N.J.,  Chris and Tom Miles of Elkton, Scott and Pat Butler of Elkton, Jerome and Rose May Rutt of Newark, DE, and all the children of Cecil County who collected pennies and coins to help the animals!

May all the animals of our community enjoy the love and warmth of families who truly care for them, and give them loving and safe homes forever.  ( And some nice new toys and maybe a tiara or two…  )– Love, FOXY
